Chanel Peridot Manicure and mini review

My best friend gave me some fancy gifts for my birthday including Chanel Le Vernis Nail colour 531 Peridot.

I was excited to try a high end, fancy nail polish and this bottle did not disappoint. It comes in a fancy box to give you that lux feel. It's the little things that make you feel good.

In the bottle the polish looks like a goldish bronze with a green duo chrome around the edges that changes depending on the angle. It looks very metallic and reflective which does translate to the nail. On the nail the colour is more of an olive greenish-gold with an olive green to medium green duo chrome and in artificial light can look bronzy-gold with direct light.

The colour in the bottle really reminds me of the middle of a peacock tail feather, so I created a matching makeup look coming soon.

The chunky square lid is removed when you want to use the brush, so it isn't as awkward as it looks. The brush is small enough to be precise and not paint your cuticles and was a pleasure to use.

The formula was fluid enough and not too streaky if you are careful; an easy, good formula to use. On the nail Chanel Peridot has a gorgeous sparkle and is a colour to be enjoyed by young and old. I think it is work safe, classy, and flashy too. Very pretty!

So anyway, here is a manicure with this lovely olive gold polish.

Enjoy!

Here are some photos in sunlight because the duo chrome comes out more obviously.

The green duo chrome looks spectacular at a sharp angle and really makes the polish interesting.
