Night Lights posted on Polishpedia!

I have another manicure to share with you that I created and was published on Polishpedia!

I wanted something simple and fun this weekend with glitter and sparkle, so I grabbed a royal purple polish, Buffy the Violet Slayer from Wet n' Wild, and layered it under a fabulous silver holographic hex glitter from China Glaze called Techno. Man, I've used a lot of this stuff and it's gorgeous, but takes a bit of patience to dab on the glitter instead of whip it on like a normal polish. However, it's totally worth it for the galaxyeque feel to this manicure and the silver next to the purple really makes it stand out.

I will say that Buffy the Violet Slayer drys really dark and turns into more of a blue than a purple after top coat. It could be the Seche Vite or it could be just the formula of this particular Wet n' Wild polish. I was disappointed cause the colour in the bottle and when it first goes on the nail is really pretty. It's really hard to find a purple nail polish that doesn't have too much red in it and is more cool toned but without going totally blue. But I have the same problem with eyeshdaows and lipsticks too. I guess I'm just very particular about my purple shades and am will always be on the never ending search for the perfect purple shades.

Golden Royalty on Polishpedia

My latest post for Polishpedia as a guest artists is some funky lip art! I love to do designs on the lips and I'd definitely have to say it's my favourite canvass.

I titled the design Golden Royalty because the colours really had a regal feel for me. I love the way
these complementary shades jump out at you and Sugarpill's Goldilux just goes amazingly well with the purples of Makeup Forever Aqua liner 08 and Eye Kandy Sour Grape sprinkles.

The fabulous metallic gold eyeshadow I used on my lips from Sugarpill can be bought here, along with many other phenomenal bright and colourful eye shadows!
