GRWM Terminator Genisys Terminator inspired Makeup ft Sugarpill & Inglot

Here is my terminator inspired make up for the movie Terminator Genisys complete with face damage. For the eyes I chose to simulate the terminator’s metal skeleton with the Sugaprill silver and Inglot dark metallic grey eyeshadows and the shimmery red centre of the lid represents the red camera lens terminator eyes.

I paired the eyes with a black and silver gradient lip, and created this look as if I were a terminator wearing this makeup and then I got the hell smashed out of my face.

This tutorial I looked at a skinless terminator and tried to approximate the metal skull plates underneath the skin and had some fun adding the blood around the wounds.

Stones n' Spikes Lip Art Tutorial ft Born Pretty & Sugarpill

I have had a few ideas floating around my head involving spikes and bold colours such as black and silver. So instead of doing a rehash of my Abbey Dawn Spiked lip (which you can find here) and checking out what silver spikes look like over a black base (which I will end up doing one day), I decided to do this fierce segmented lip art combining rhinestones, spikes, black and silver!

I delved into my cache of 6mm silver spikes which I bought off Born Pretty Store and also used some hex glitter to add reflection and shine to the bottom lip over the Sugarpill Tiara pigment which is my silver of choice for lips and eyes!

For the black lip, I used some 3mm black rhinestones I bought off eBay for a couple of dollars on top of a black glitter from Dollar Nail Art and Portland Black Lipstick Company Black Lipstick.

I think it came out pretty well and the abrasive roughness of the style works well with my go-to gothic smokey eye which you can find the tutorial for here.

Tutorial for the Eye Makeup

GRWM: Eminem gig Makeup & OOTD ft Sugarpill, Cyberdog, Romwe & Dolls Kill

I went to the Eminem gig and instead of dressing in a thematic Hiphop fashion, I decided to go for my new Dolls Kill Holo skirt, Cyberdog Orbit vest and Romwe Cut-out white leggings. 

This gave me a great excuse to use the amazing pink neon Love Buzz pigment from Sugarpill and added some extra pink sparkle with Eye Kandy Cotton Candy, then to match the holographic skirt I used MAC 3D Silver glitter and Eye Kandy Confetti with Sugarpill Tiara for a silver eyeliner and inner corner highlight.

I went for the fabulous shimmery metallic "Yaoi" lip tar from OCC to have lips that matched it all. The pink is a brilliant colour and the lip lasted all night through singing along, munching on snacks and walking around the city in the rain.

Lip Art Tutorial: Space-age Holographic Lips

Here is the Space-age Holographic Lip Art that I came up with quite a while ago (Here's the original blog post) and I finally made the tutorial for it! It's a cyber-spacey look that would rock at a club or a gig, and anywhere there is light to make the most of the reflective glitter!

For the sparkly silver in this look I used main 3 products, MAC 3D Glitter in Silver, Eye Kandy sprinkles in Confetti and Sugarpill Tiara pigment.

And to make the holographic glitter really stand out I used a black base of Portland Black Lipstick Company Black lipstick. It's is so inky and pigmented, lasts a long time on the lip and is great for this purpose because it helps glitter adhere really well.

New Years Eve Makeup 2014

Here's my New Years Eve makeup for 2014 and I went all out big time with silver holographic glitter and a dramatic cut crease. I took the photos at the end of the night after falling asleep in my makeup unfortunately but it actually still looks pretty good.

I chose to go for my all time favourite glitter in MAC Reflects 3D Silver and used the best silver ever in Sugarpill Tiara. Then to match with the glitter best I chose Poison plum and Bulletproof in the crease with Inglot matte gel eyeliner in #77 to cut the crease and last quite well on the waterline.

I had to go for a purple lip with this glitter and crease look so my favourite purple lipstick is MAC Violetta and to give some sparkle to the lips I used Funtabulous Dazzleglass.

You have to go big for NYE and chunky holographic glitter really does is for me for the party festivities.

4th of July Makeup

My 4th of July makeup complete with twinkling silver stars from The Born Pretty Store! 

I went for a red, white and blue makeup to go to an ironic party that me and my close friends have, I say ironic because we aren't American or in America. For dinner we had tacos and the table decorations were red and blue napkins on a white table cloth and we drunk delicious Mojitos because they were Castro's favoutie drink to add more irony. 

For the makeup, I pulled out the juicy Royal Sugar pigment from Sugarpill as a blisteringly bright blue eyeliner that made my camera go crazy! The lid is Sugarpill Tiara and Eye Kandy sprinkles in Confetti and I applied Tako to the brow bone and Velocity for the crease and lower lid. To complete the colour theme I chose Lime Crime Retrofuturist lipstick

I felt the look wasn't complete or festive enough, so I retrieved my Duo lash glue and proceeded to stick these fun aluminium stars I bought in an assorted set from Born Pretty Store to my cheek bone and also added some smaller sequin stars I got from dollarnailart.com around them.

I ended up with a very star spangled makeup that could work for a colourful pin-up look or nautical style, even with the stars!
