GRWM Jupiter Ascending Makeup ft Sugarpill, Eye Kandy & MAC

I went to see the movie Jupiter Ascending and decided to create a Jupiter inspired makeup look based on the movie poster using some Sugarpill matte shadows, Amber lights from MAC and some shadows from the Urban Decay Electric palette too.

Dude looks like a Lady: Aerosmith gig Makeup & OOTD ft Sugarpill, Eye Kandy & Lime Crime

This is an old look but it's from when I went to the Aerosmith gig. I was going for a black and red look because of their album covers and colours in general, but ended up with this very gothic look especially when I put the outfit on. ;) I just had to wear my tiny top hat and Tripp skirt and that really spun it towards a gothic style.

I wanted a black smokey eye blended out into red and I used Sugarpill's Bulletproof and Love+ with a touch of Flamepoint on the inner edges and I added some Eye Kandy Cherry bomb glitter on top and the lips are both the red Lime Crime Velvetines in a gradient.

I will say that I was delightfully surprised when I came out of the dressing room and my boyfriend simply said "WOW". And I think a look has done it's job when it impresses people that see us everyday.

Sometimes a makeup look doesn't end up the way we would like it but it's still gets to an awesome place. I really liked the look and might do a tutorial on it and take some better pictures, since I was rushed and they didn't come out too great.

Catching Fire FOTD & OOTD

I went to see Catching Fire the other day and whipped up a quick flame based look with some orange, yellow and gold eyeshadows from Sugarpill and Inglot, including the appropriately named Flamepoint!

I already have planned an inspired look for the movie with more amped-up red flame based characteristics, however this was a simple orange smoky eye to go with my Burning Fire Leggings from Romwe and my flame track shoes that were so cool, I had to get them, even though they are actually from the little boy's section.

Easter lips

These colourful spotted lips are to celebrate Easter and represent a hand painted easter egg. I went for some bright colours from Sugarpill including Buttercupcake, Flamepoint and Darling and also Lime Crime's amazing Uniliner Orchidaceous, then added a bit of sparkle on the dots with Eye Kandy Tangerine twist and Marshmallow.

I wanted to bust out some glitter and use both orange and pink this weekend. An xSparkage tutorial using Eye Kandy sprinkles really got my juices flowing and I was inspired to go nuts! I have been thinking about doing coloured or glitter eyebrows, so I paired that with some soft brown blending and bright crazy glitter!
