GRWM Yngwie Malmsteen Gig Makeup ft Sugarpill & Urban Decay

Here is a video on me getting ready for the Yngwie J. Malmsteen gig and meet and greet. And for those of you who don't know who that is, he is a solo guitarist with a classical influence giving rise to hard rock songs, ballads and anything in between.

Enjoy!

Festival Survival Guide Soundwave Day 2 GRWM Soundgarden & Faith No More Makeup ft Kryolan, Urban Decay & Sugarpill

Here's my Day 2 “Festival Survival Guide” plus makeup tutorial for Soundwave, where I especially went to see Soundgarden & Faith No More. I based my make up on the garden part of Soundgarden with yellows and greens and some red and black to represent Faith no more. I think the makeup kinda ended up looking a little Rastafarian instead, but I enjoyed how it came out anyway.

Enjoy!

Festival Survival Guide Soundwave Day 1 GRWM Judas Priest & Marilyn Manson Makeup ft Urban Decay & Sugarpill

I'm here to share what I’d call a festival survival guide plus makeup tutorial! This is part 1 of the 2 day Soundwave festival where I especially went to see Judas Priest & Marilyn Manson. I based my makeup on the colours I think of for these bands which is reds and blacks and I wanted to go dark and gothic for Manson with a twist of pink into the makeup too.

I had such a blast at Soundwave and I can’t wait to go next year and now I know it’s necessity to grab a slurpee before the gig if the sun is beating down on you. I'm going for blue lemonade and pink Creaming soda next year to cool down with while I rock out!

Enjoy!

GRWM Rolling Stones Gig Makeup ft Sugarpill & Urban Decay

I'm heading out to the Rolling Stones gig tonight and created this make up look inspired by the red, white and black colours that their famous lips and tongue logo sports. I used my favourite shadow from the Urban Decay pallet called Slowburn and a mixed that with Love+ from Sugarpill and a bit of shimmer on the lid too. I went heavy on the lower lashline with some black and didn't go for the winged liner one would usually expect, to change it up and focus on the rounded crease shape.

Enjoy!
