Prometheus

I always like to dress up when I go the movies with some sort of theme related to the film we're seeing. Since Prometheus is in the Alien franchise and the Alien character is usually associated with blackish green, blue or gray, I used those kind of colours to create this look. I used a sample I got from Evil Shades eyeshadow in Glooming and found it to be excellent. I love the way the blue glitter shines against the matte black and it worked really well with Fyrianne Pixy Epoxy. Delicious! The Deviant Lipstick from Evil Shades also kicked ass in the colour and shine department, check out the lip swatch and review.

I love the art work of H. R. Giger, who conceived the concept art for the Alien from his nightmares, and he has done some awesome, spooky and unnerving works. Check out his site here.

Enjoy!

Here is a lip swatch for Evil Shades Deviant Lipstick in Obscurity and mini Review.

I loved the colour and sheen this lipstick had and found the intensity to be buildable. I only had a sample, so I solely used a lip brush to apply the product and think that application and intensity could be improved if applied directly from the stick with the full product. The lipstick is a wax based product, so warms to the lip's touch and I think that makes the difference with the full size compared to the sample. The taste was inoffensive, if not pleasant and it wore comfortably. It didn't dry my lips too much but did feel like I was wearing product, that is to say that it isn't a weightless unnoticeable lipstick, however isn't thick and cumbersome. It didn't survive me eating popcorn in the movie theatre, which no one should expect.

I liked it and would consider buying the full size for the colour alone.

Buy it at Evil Shades here.

The search for our begining could lead to our end.......
