Candy Cane in the Snow

I created a Christmas themed look as I felt the spirit in the air, it's that or the Christmas carols are seeping into my brain. I wanted to do a sparkly but not too kitschy representation of a Candy Cane and incorporate snow for an excuse to use glitter and to go with the red and white motif.

I created these glittery christmas themed lips by using Milani's Lip flash stubby pencil lip gloss and patting the Eye Kandy Sprinkles directly onto it for a fun flashy mistletoe kiss!

Christmas Manicure

I thought it was feeling a lot like christmas, as the song goes, and decided to do a holiday themed manicure using my favourite OPI polishes and the most awesome sparkly blood red colour from Glitter Gal. If you like red at all you should seriously consider Type O from Glitter Gal.

OPI really nailed it (pun intended) with this polish! Goldeneye from the James Bond Skyfall Holiday collection is the most glorious glittery gold foil I've ever laid eyes on and so beautiful I used it twice in a row for my manicure, which is very rare for me. 

So here's OPI Golden eye by itself under fluorescent lights.

And Goldeneye with an accent nail of Chanel's Peridot outside in the shade.

I wanted to bust out my new Urban decay deluxe shadow box and experiment with Eye Kandy Licorice stick glitter to create a colourful smoky eye. I was considering calling this look Starry eyes or Galaxy eyes or something but using the naughty Urban Decay eyeshadow names was to irresistible.
