I wanted to use some of the gorgeous glitters that the darling people at Eye Kandy sent me as a gift. I can't thank them enough for the gorgeous gift of sparkle! So I created this super sparkly, pink and silver look with some amazing Sugarpill and Urban Decay products then to put it over the top, some rhinestones too!

Halloween themed nails

I dipped into my nail collection and these three colours caught my eye. I was inspired to do a halloween themed look and I also wanted to play around with cosmetic glitter to amp up the sparkle in my manicure. And boy, does Eye Kandy sprinkles sparkle on the nails! Especially Tangerine twist translucent sugar, which comes to life over black with green and orange reflects!

Fuchsia Dream

I wanted to try one of my new Glitter Gal nail polishes, and I felt like mixing it up colourwise with a feminine pink from their 3D holographic line. This polish completely dazzles under down lights and is totally gorgeous.

Mirrorball Dipped Tips

An article on Beautylish got me thinking about using cosmetic glitter for a unique and mega sparkly nail polish. So I tried a glitter gradient with the gorgeous 3D Silver glitter from M.A.C. I must say that the photos don't even come close to the amazing holographic effect. 

Also, I found that the glitter wasn't rough or gritty after 2 coats of top coat and didn't shed as I have heard other similar manicure methods do.

Red n' Purple Glitter Ombre Lips

Red and purple are definitely my favourite colours and I thought I would create a juicy and glittery ombre lip look with OCC Lip tars and Eye Kandy glitter!
