OOTD Video

I'm really smitten with these fabulous Fireworks leggings that I won in a Letzmakeup YouTube competition sponsored by Romwe. Thank you to Shiv for hosting the giveaway and Romwe for supplying my choice of any of their lovely leggings. These ones are so colourful and comfortable and look really great with a variety of outfits.

Then there's the gorgeous head scarf from CheeseCake Dolls on Etsy. Wow, I love this accessory and have been wearing it heaps and getting lots of compliments on it too. I feel very cutesy and sexy wearing this bow, in a pin-up sort of way.

Monsters U Sully Inspired Makeup

I recently watched Monsters Inc. in preparation for the new Monsters University movie and decided to wear this look to represent my Sully appreciation at the cinema!

 

Amazingly enough the Sugarpill shadow Mochi is an exact match for Sully's fur and I mixed together a few shades for the gorgeous purple spots he sports including Poison Plum, Urban Decay Fishnet, Inglot #441 and the purple from the Sleek Acid pallet for a neon tinge. I went for a natural brow highlight for once and used the lightest shade from the Inglot #101 Rainbow shadows and white gel liner on the waterline for a wide eyed look.

For the lips, I whipped out the ever fascinating and dreamy Coloured Raine Uncensored VVS LipSynch, which I won in an Instagram competition and I'm so glad I did! This lipstick is the perfect gothy light purple with a delightful tinge of grey to the lavender shade and if worn right can give you a stunning Corpse Bride look and I love that! However for this light and playful look, I used VVS LipSynch to let the lip colour melt in and match with the rest of the makeup but not overpower it. And finally, I finished off the look with my first foray into false lashes. I used Red Cherry Demi Whispies and love the way they complement the shape of the eyeshadow, add some natural length and pretty flutter to my eyelashes.

Deep Purple gig Makeup & OOTD

The Deep Purple gig was last Friday and I couldn't turn up without some aptly deep purple makeup and most sassy outfit. 

I went purple all over and used my favourite purple eyeshadows including Maybelline Color tattoo Painted Purple as a base, MAC Violet pigment and Vellum, Inglot #439 #441, Lime crime Empress and deepened it all up with Sugarpill Stella. To add glam, I couldn't go past a light sprinkling of Eye Kandy Sour Grape and Jelly bean.

New Years Eve Makeup

My New Years Eve FOTD. I must admit this photo was taken after some time of wearing the makeup but it held up ok after activity and fun. For the look, I couldn't resist my MAC 3D Silver and a purple smokey eye behind it for some massive party sparkle!

Purple Pleasure

I started with a crazy idea for some Holographic Space-age lips then had some fun with light purples around the eyes. For some reason M.A.C 3D silver makes me want to use purple with it and what better purples to use but Sugarpill Poison plum, Paperdoll, M.A.C Vellum and my new beautiful Inglot shadows I got recently.
